Cold Weather has come to Bartow County

I was out riding around yesterday previewing houses and subdivisions and snapped this picture. We might not be able to have snow but here is our ice!!

I found this survey on the Internet as I was doing a bit of research and thought I would post it here. It is current - responses were made after I-hop opened but before Chili's. It is rather interesting. The questions posed are where would you like to see Cartersville in the year 2030. Each response is written out. Many people ask for malls, more shopping, even free wi-fi in the downtown area. While others want to keep Cartersville small with the small town atmosphere, lots of green space. All seem to agree on the fact there needs to be a solution to the traffic problem! Click on the Title and it will take you to the survey so you can read it yourself.

Countrywide Buyout

Looks like Countrywide is the latest buyout. Bank of America Corp. has announced they are in fact buying Countrywide. The grapevine has buzzed about this since the first of the year. Countrywide carries billions in mortgages and were reaching a critical level with their foreclosure rates. According to Massachusetts congressman Barney Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, this could be a positive to help improve the current real estate economy. I'm taking a new class at Keller Williams about improving your business. I probably have heard a lot of the things they have to say but I always find a few nuggets that make it all worthwhile. As always, I strive to stay current on the real estate market so that I can bring you up to date information on anything you need to know!

Subdivisions

I think I have all the kinks worked out on my "subdivisions" tab on my website. I have the pictures up and running plus Google maps to give everyone directions to see the subdivisions if they like the pictures.
I plan to expand the subdivision tours over the next few months so be sure to keep checking back to see the new tours I post. I will post them on the blog as well as the website - that way if you miss it in one location you can see it in another!
